Rosewood Miramar Beach, Montecito

Set directly on the sand in Montecito, California, Rosewood Miramar Beach traces back to 1876, when a young couple built cottages on the property to host visiting friends and family. Over the years those cottages grew into Miramar by the Sea, a beloved beachfront retreat for generations of California travelers.

Owned by Caruso and managed by Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, the estate reopened in 2019, rebuilt from the ground up while carrying that legacy forward. Designed by Rick Caruso's personal interior designer, Diane Johnson, the 16-acre property centers on the Manor House, with a staircase inspired by architect Paul Williams, and is the only Southern California resort with rooms set directly over the beach.

Guests can dine at Caruso's or Malibu Farm at Miramar, relax at Sense, A Rosewood Spa, or explore nearby Montecito village. It's a refined retreat shaped by more than a century of coastal history.

FAQ

Getting there / flights

Stord covers everything once you land at the airport (LAX, BUR, SBA). We'll provide transportation to and from the airport to the event. Once you have your flight information after your RSVP is confirmed, please work with us to coordinate a pickup time. If you do not have flights booked when your RSVP is confirmed, we will reach out at a later date to gather your flight information and share your transportation information. 

Itinerary / activities

We will share more details about the specific itinerary closer to the date of the event. But you can expect both indoor and outdoor (weather permitting) options as well as some of the best foods Montecito has to offer.

Can I stay in Montecito longer?

Of course (we wouldn't blame you)! If you are interested in extending your trip and spending some more time at Rosewood Miramar Beach, please note this in your RSVP or email events@stord.com to let us know.

What if I need to cancel?

If you need to cancel for any reason, we completely understand -- life happens.

If your plans change, please reach out to events@stord.com as soon as possible so that we can offer the open spot to someone on the waitlist.

Do you have any sponsorship or brand opportunities?

We will be providing welcome bags for attendees with a variety of brand products to highlight. If you are interested in participating, please check the box on your RSVP or reach out to us directly at events@stord.com. 

Can I bring a +1 to Stord Summit?

This year, we are able to accommodate plus ones for shared rooming accommodations and all meals. Plus ones are excluded from the Stord Summit sessions portion of the event.
